Upcoming Events!
We are proud to have in New Hampshire our African American, Latino, Stonewall, Young Democrats, Labor, AAPI, Disability, Veterans and Military Families, Women, and Senior caucuses. The goal of these caucuses is to establish long standing constituency groups in NH that fight for representation and shared values. They are an opportunity to bring more voters into the New Hampshire Democratic Party structure and communicate with voters in our constituency. We want to recruit and elect officials in NH that represent the Democratic voters that make up the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
Next week we have two events with the Women’s Caucus and the Veterans and Military Families Caucus. These are open to all registered Democrats. Please help us spread the word!

Last month, we launched Sununu Reality Check, a project designed to hold Governor Sununu accountable for his out-of-touch policies that favor his family, friends and corporate special interests when he should be fighting for working families. We’re tired of his phony bipartisan doublespeak and his ‘aw shucks’ act, so we’re saying enough is enough. We’re focusing on five key issues: education, the economy, health care, the environment and ethics.
With an incredibly successful 2017 coming to a close, I know we can make Sununu a 1-term governor but that means making sure everyone knows what his real record is. The bill would redefine “domicile” status for voting purposes, effectively forcing registrants to declare residency upon registering to vote, chilling the right to vote for college students in New Hampshire. By forcing students to declare residency, this bill would act as a de facto poll tax, moving the goal posts on students who are legally allowed to vote in New Hampshire.

============================================================ Copyright © 2017 NHDP Grassroots Chair, All rights reserved. As we enter the 2018 legislative session, we will need all hands-on-deck to push back on the Republican leadership who have already made it clear that they will focus on restricting voting access, pushing through corporate tax cuts and other priorities that the people of New Hampshire do not want. My job over the next year as the NHDP Grassroots Chair will be to keep local Democrats informed and engaged during the 2018 legislative session, and I need your help!
